Heinz has introduced the Heinz Dipper, a pioneering fry box featuring an integrated ketchup compartment designed for convenient on-the-go dipping. The innovation addresses common challenges faced by fry and ketchup enthusiasts away from tables, such as spilling sauce or forgoing condiments due to inadequate packaging. Debuting at over 20 restaurants and sports stadiums worldwide, the patent-pending design ensures mess-free enjoyment anywhere.
Nearly all fry lovers recognize the ideal pairing of ketchup and french fries. However, consumers often struggle with this combination during mobile eating scenarios. Today, Heinz, the leading global condiment brand, launches the Heinz Dipper to resolve these issues with its intuitive, spill-proof structure.
Surveys reveal that 70 percent of ketchup and fry fans have experienced spills while dipping on the move, and 80 percent have skipped condiments owing to unsuitable options. The Heinz Dipper counters these problems directly, simplifying the process for users.
Nina Patel, Vice President of the Global Heinz Brand at Kraft Heinz Company, stated: “After highlighting the resemblance between fry boxes and our iconic Heinz Keystone shape worldwide, we aimed to advance further by reimagining the traditional fry box to better serve Heinz enthusiasts globally. With more meals consumed in drive-thrus and portable settings, the Heinz Dipper offers a playful, pertinent innovation that meets fans in their daily routines and bolsters our presence there.”
This marks Heinz's broadest international rollout yet, appearing in eleven countries: six U.S. cities plus Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Philippines, Thailand, China, and Kuwait. Visitors to select sites can obtain fries in the new container while stocks remain.
The Heinz Dipper acts as a trial for broader rollout and sustained expansion in the brand’s away-from-home segment. Spanning eleven markets, it signifies progress in Heinz's international presence, emphasizing enduring consumer affinity for its signature sauce.
