Ahlstrom Launches Acti-V RRF Natural Release Liners for PSA Tapes

Ahlstrom expanded its Acti-V Industrial release liner range with Acti-V Industrial RF Brown and Acti-V Industrial RF Natural for double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tapes.​

Acti-V Industrial RF Brown is a supercalendered release paper containing 30% post-consumer recycled fiber, featuring the typical brown color for double-sided tape liners.​

Acti-V Industrial RF Natural is a supercalendered release paper in natural kraft color, blending at least 15% post-consumer recycled cellulose fiber with unbleached cellulose fibers.​

Both products improve circularity by substituting virgin fibers with post-consumer recycled content.​

Acti-V Industrial RF Natural eliminates dyes and reduces carbon footprint by 17-20% compared to standard Acti-V Industrial liners, aiding PSA tape sustainability.​

Designed for double-sided silicone coating, they leverage Ahlstrom’s Acti-V technology for efficient coating and converting, cutting energy, catalysts, and silicone use.
