Amcor reported higher sales, earnings and cash flow for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, with results largely reflecting the acquisition of Berry Global, raw-material cost pass-through and synergy benefits.
Fourth-quarter net sales rose 26% to $6.4 billion, while net income increased to $389 million from a loss of $39 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA was $1.045 billion, up 32%, and adjusted diluted earnings per share increased 23% to $1.23 from $1.00.
For fiscal 2026, Amcor reported net sales of $23.5 billion, up 57% from $15.0 billion in the prior year. Net income increased to $1.106 billion from $511 million, while adjusted EBITDA rose 68% to $3.673 billion. Adjusted diluted EPS increased 13% to $4.02 from $3.56.
The company said approximately $7.9 billion of acquired sales, net of divestitures, contributed to the full-year sales increase. Adjusted EBIT rose 63% to $2.813 billion, with approximately $240 million of the year-over-year increase attributed to synergy benefits from the Berry acquisition.
Amcor's Global Flexible Packaging Solutions segment generated fourth-quarter net sales of $3.525 billion, up 16% on a constant-currency basis, while adjusted EBIT increased 20% to $533 million. Global Rigid Packaging Solutions reported fourth-quarter net sales of $2.873 billion, up 35% on a constant-currency basis, with adjusted EBIT rising 57% to $352 million.
Free cash flow for fiscal 2026 was $1.303 billion after approximately $290 million of net transaction, restructuring and integration costs. Net debt stood at $12.897 billion at June 30.
For the six-month transition period ending December 31, 2026, Amcor expects adjusted EPS of approximately $1.80 to $1.90 and leverage of 3.5x to 3.6x.
The company's board also declared a quarterly cash dividend of 65.0 cents per share. The payment date is September 24, 2026.
