ANDRITZ Technologies Appoints Kirtiraj Jilkar as Managing Director and CEO for India

ANDRITZ Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Kirtiraj Jilkar as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in India, effective August 3, 2026. He succeeds Sridhar Gopalan, who will retire from the role at the end of the year after many years of service with the company.

Based in Chennai, Jilkar joins ANDRITZ with nearly three decades of experience in the engineering, energy, and environmental solutions sectors. Before joining the company, he held several leadership positions at Thermax, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Business Unit Head – Projects & Energy Solutions.

According to the company, Jilkar has led business growth initiatives, expanded international operations, and managed large-scale organisations during his career. He has also overseen operational and financial performance across the businesses under his leadership.

The leadership transition comes as Sridhar Gopalan prepares to retire following his tenure as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ANDRITZ Technologies Pvt. Ltd., India.

In announcing the appointment, the company welcomed Jilkar to the organisation and expressed its best wishes for his success in leading the India business.
