Andritz Wins Lime Kiln Plant Order For Guangxi Botare Yuantrove’s New Pulp Mill In China

Guangxi Botare Yuantrove Paper has selected Andritz to supply a state-of-the-art lime kiln plant for its new pulp mill in Yugui Industrial Park, Guigang City, China, with start-up scheduled for Q2 2026. The plant will have a capacity of 380 t/d of burnt lime and is designed for low energy consumption, low emissions and high availability to optimise operating costs at the mill. Andritz’s scope includes a LimeDry lime mud filter to deliver high dry solids and excellent washing efficiency, minimising total reduced sulfur emissions in the kiln flue gas and supporting efficient, low-heat operation. The order value is undisclosed but booked in Q1 2025 and further reinforces Andritz’s position as a key global supplier of environmentally focused pulp mill technologies. Guangxi Botare Yuantrove operates under China’s Zhihu group, a leading domestic daily care brand expanding into pulp and tissue production.
