Arauco to Install AI-Based Panel Repair Systems at Two Chile Mills

Arauco will install Raute's Visual Analyzer R7 systems with artificial intelligence at two of its mills in Chile as part of a modernization project aimed at improving panel repair operations.

The investment includes AI-based analyzers for the panel repairing lines at both facilities. According to the companies, the Visual Analyzer R7 system uses artificial intelligence to detect defects and support more accurate and efficient panel repair processes.

The project is intended to improve both product quality and productivity in the panel repairing stage of manufacturing.

Deliveries of the systems are scheduled for late 2026. Financial details of the investment, including the order value, were not disclosed, and no production capacity figures were released.
