Arctic Paper has commissioned a new Pasaban KB 2200 sheeter at its Munkedal mill as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen production capabilities, improve efficiency, and support long-term competitiveness.

The investment forms part of the company’s broader operational development strategy and is also aimed at enhancing workplace safety. The new sheeter is a sister machine to the unit recently installed at Arctic Paper’s Kostrzyn facility and features a working width of 2,200 mm along with advanced operational functionality.

According to the company, the equipment replaces two older sheet cutters, significantly increasing sheeting capacity while improving material flow through the finishing department. The upgrade is expected to provide greater production flexibility, improved efficiency, and increased reliability, enabling the mill to respond more effectively to customer requirements.

The new sheeter also incorporates modern safety systems and advanced technology. By replacing equipment that had been in operation for approximately 50 years, the installation is intended to create a safer and more efficient working environment while reducing operational risks.

Arctic Paper said the investment represents another step in maintaining high standards of quality, service, and operational performance at the Munkedal mill. The company added that the upgrade supports its continued focus on delivering reliable products and services while strengthening the facility’s long-term production capabilities.
