Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktar Turchyn visited the Svetlahorsk Pulp and Board Mill as authorities continue efforts to stabilise operations at the facility, according to Belarusian state media reports.
During the visit, Turchyn reviewed production activities and discussed measures aimed at improving the mill’s operational and financial performance. The plant, one of Belarus’s major pulp and paper manufacturing facilities, has faced ongoing production and operational challenges in recent years.
Officials said the visit focused on maintaining stable production output, ensuring raw material supplies, and addressing technical and organisational issues affecting the enterprise. Discussions also covered workforce stability and future development plans for the mill.
