Bellmer Introduces TurboShaker Pro for High-Performance Paper Machines

Bellmer has introduced the TurboShaker Pro, a high-frequency shaking system developed for modern paper machines equipped with heavy breast rolls and demanding operating requirements.

The TurboShaker Pro increases the maximum stroke to 35 mm, compared with up to 25 mm for the conventional TurboShaker. According to Bellmer, the greater stroke produces a stronger shaking impulse, enabling the system to effectively move heavier breast rolls.

The increased impulse is designed to improve the transfer of shaking motion into the headbox suspension. Bellmer says this can help disperse fiber flocs more effectively and promote improved fiber alignment, contributing to better sheet formation, higher strength properties and more stable paper quality, particularly on wide machines and at high operating speeds.

The system combines the increased stroke with an extended usable frequency range and precise control of both stroke and frequency. Like other TurboShaker systems, the TurboShaker Pro operates non-reactively, avoiding disruptive forces on the foundation and surrounding structure.

Each TurboShaker Pro is individually designed and optimized at the factory based on the actual breast roll weight. Bellmer says this ensures that the appropriate shaking impulse is available during operation.

The company positions the TurboShaker Pro as a solution for applications where the impulse provided by conventional systems is insufficient, with strokes of up to 35 mm and a focus on paper formation and product quality.
