BioPak Appoints Guy Brent as New Chief Executive Officer

BioPak has appointed Guy Brent as Chief Executive Officer, effective February 2, 2026, succeeding Co-Founder Gary Smith.​

Brent joins after 14 years with Woolworths Group, where he most recently served as Managing Director of the Woolworths Food Company. His career includes leadership roles at Cellarmasters, Pinnacle Drinks, BWS, and food production operations focused on private label brands, product development, and sustainable packaging integration.

The BioPak Board highlighted Brent's people-first leadership, strategic focus, and commercial track record as ideal for guiding the company's next growth phase.

In his new role, Brent will oversee strategic growth, innovation, operational excellence, and purpose-led advocacy to advance circular solutions and systemic change across sustainable foodservice packaging.
