Holmfirth-based BM Packaging, operator of two sites producing corrugated packaging, has been sold to Nova Paper & Packaging B.V., part of Turkey’s Eren Holding. The family-owned business supplies bespoke and die-cut packaging to various sectors. Managing Director Chris Latham stated the company has been family-run for 35 years, but the deal presented an unmissable chance to expand and ensure long-term stability within a major dynamic group. Latham will continue in his position post-acquisition. Yorkshire law firm Schofield Sweeney advised BM Packaging during the transaction. Jack Venable, solicitor in Schofield Sweeney’s corporate team, described it as a privilege to assist Latham, noting the sale positions the Yorkshire family business for future growth as part of a global conglomerate.
