Shandong Bohui Paper Industry has received official approval for five technological upgrading projects that will collectively add 1.15 million tonnes of annual production capacity, according to the Zibo Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment.
The approved projects focus on enhancements to key production segments, including chemimechanical pulp, packaging paperboard, and information paper. The upgrades involve process optimization and equipment modifications aimed at improving operational efficiency and output.
Among the projects, Bohui Paper plans to expand chemimechanical pulp capacity, upgrade packaging board production lines, and enhance information paper manufacturing capabilities. The combined effect of these initiatives is expected to significantly increase the company’s supply capacity while refining its product mix.
