Cartiere Carrara Faces Labour Unrest at Pratovecchio Tissue Mill

Employees at Cartiere Carrara's Pratovecchio tissue mill in Italy have declared a state of labour unrest, effective until November 30, 2025, with potential for extension and strike action if unresolved. The Snalv Confsal trade union highlighted ongoing issues including inadequate workplace safety measures, chronic staff shortages, stressful shift patterns, and inconsistent national bonus distribution, despite company proposals on October 28 deemed insufficient by workers.
