Rutigliano, Italy – – Cartonpack Group has announced the acquisition of the business unit of Agrypack S.r.l., a Verona-based distributor of packaging solutions for the agrifood sector founded in 1992.
The transaction marks a further step in Cartonpack’s growth strategy, aimed at strengthening its commercial and operational footprint in Northern Italy while expanding its integrated packaging offering for customers in the fresh produce and food markets.
Agrypack has been a long-standing commercial partner of Cartonpack, with a relationship built on complementary capabilities, market expertise, and mutual trust. The integration of the business unit into the group is described as a natural evolution of this partnership, enabling enhanced operational synergies and a stronger territorial presence.
As part of the agreement, leadership continuity will be maintained. Simone Turrini will remain in charge of Agrypack, ensuring stability in management and continuity in relationships with customers and partners.
The deal also includes a development plan for Agrypack’s historical site, with operations set to expand across two logistics and production areas. This is expected to strengthen operational capacity and improve service levels.
Commenting on the transaction, Turrini said the move formalizes a long-standing collaboration based on a shared strategic vision. He added that joining Cartonpack would allow Agrypack to build on its existing work while leveraging a broader industrial platform to support future growth and maintain high service standards.
