Cascades plans a $6 million investment at its tissue paper plant in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The expansion will generate 36 new jobs over the next two years.
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) backs the initiative with up to $200,000 in performance-based state income tax credits. Cascades’ project features a state-of-the-art converting line, noted as one of the company’s most advanced. This equipment supports premium product launches, boosts converting capacity, enhances integration rates, and widens regional market reach, according to Midland.
Cascades, a Canadian firm founded in 1964, focuses on tissue paper and sustainable packaging. It runs manufacturing and converting sites across North America and Europe for consumer and industrial clients. The company prioritizes recycled fibers, eco-designed products, and sustainable practices, employing about 10,000 worldwide and trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange as CAS.
