Cascades Inc. has appointed Emmanuelle Migneault, currently Vice-President, Excellence, as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective 5 January 2026, succeeding Maryse Fernet, who will retire in February after more than 38 years with the company and 18 years leading HR. A Université Laval business graduate specializing in human resources and organizational information systems, Migneault joined Cascades in 2001 and has held multiple senior HR roles across business units and at corporate level, most recently overseeing excellence, lean and continuous improvement initiatives since November 2024. CEO Hugues Simon highlighted her deep Cascades experience, collaborative leadership and culture-of-excellence focus as key to advancing strategic ambitions while supporting employees, and paid tribute to Fernet as an architect of modern HR processes, a mentor and a guardian of Cascades’ culture and values.
