Cascades Inc. secured a position among Corporate Knights' 2026 list of the world's 100 most sustainable corporations for the seventh consecutive year. The company placed 34th globally, leading the Containers and Packaging industry and ranking third in the Materials sector. Announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the ranking evaluated firms with over $1 billion in 2024 revenue based on sustainable revenue sources and investments promoting positive environmental outcomes. Cascades excelled through high revenue from recycled or certified fiber products and dedicated sustainability investments. It advanced from 59th in 2025, reflecting strategic focus and team efforts. Toby Heaps, Corporate Knights CEO, emphasized momentum in sustainability amid planetary capacity pressures. Global 100 companies achieved 60% sustainable revenues and investments versus 17% and 13% for peers, with superior financial returns. President and CEO Hugues Simon highlighted alignment with Cascades' upcoming 2026-2030 sustainable development plan.
