Celulosa Argentina will continue its financial restructuring after the First Instance Civil and Commercial Court of San Lorenzo, in Argentina's Santa Fe province, extended the timeline for the company's bankruptcy proceedings due to the complexity of the case.

The court cited the large number of claims filed by banks, suppliers, employees, and public agencies, as well as the complexity of reviewing and analyzing each claim, in granting the extension.

Under the revised judicial schedule, the court-appointed trustee is expected to submit an individual report on the admitted claims by March 30, 2027. A progress report on the review of supporting documentation is scheduled for November 10, 2026.

Celulosa Argentina is undergoing a restructuring process after encountering difficulties in meeting its short-term financial obligations. The company said it continues to implement measures aimed at advancing its operational and financial recovery while the review of its liabilities remains underway.

The restructuring process is also taking place alongside the court-appointed intervention of one of the company's affiliated businesses.

Separately, Celulosa Argentina is continuing negotiations with workers' representatives over wage payments as it seeks to stabilize operations and advance its broader restructuring efforts.
