On the evening of March 3, the production line of Plant 3 at Chenming Group's Zhanjiang base officially started operation. This is another important step in the recovery of production capacity, following the start-up of Plant 2 and the chemical pulp plant, marking the simultaneous achievement of chemical pulp supply and finished paper production capacity at the Zhanjiang base.

The Zhanjiang base's third plant has a designed annual production capacity of 190,000 tons, primarily producing cultural paper. The production line is designed for a speed of 1600 m/min, a paper machine width of 6400 mm, and a product qualification rate exceeding 95%. After resuming production, the third plant will accelerate capacity release, striving to achieve full production within the planned timeframe. Simultaneously, leveraging the raw material advantages of the chemical pulp plant, it will extend its industrial chain downstream, increase R&D efforts in high-end paper products, and contribute to Zhanjiang's development into a core paper industry cluster in South China.

The orderly resumption of work and production at the Zhanjiang base has further improved the group's national production capacity layout, strengthened the local supply capacity of high-end paper products in South China, and effectively covered the market demand in the Pearl River Delta, Southeast Asia and other regions, providing solid support for the group to restart its industrial pattern of "north-south coordination, radiating across the country and facing overseas markets".
