China Paper Mills Lower Waste Paper Prices Across Regions

Multiple paper mills across China announced waste paper price reductions effective early January 2026, with cuts ranging from 10-50 yuan per ton depending on grade and location.

Northeast China:

Liaoning Shenyang Jiulong Paper Industry Co., Ltd. has lowered its corrugated board prices by 20-30 yuan/ton (effective January 1st). Prices for Grade B, yarn tubes, and domestic waste paper cores remain unchanged. The adjusted prices are as follows: AA grade 1480, A grade 1460, B grade 1410, mixed grade 1390, C grade 1350, D grade 1320, corrugated paper 1280, waste paper 1270, yarn tubes 1060, domestic waste paper cores 880.

Liaoning Fushun Amber Paper Industry has lowered its waste paper prices (effective January 1st). The adjusted prices are: A1460, B1410, C1350, D1200. Counterfeit goods, construction waste, and any other materials that could damage production equipment are strictly prohibited. Additional deductions will be applied for any such items found. Good quality goods will receive lower deductions.

Liaoning Xingdong Paper Industry has lowered its waste paper prices by 10-30 yuan/ton (effective January 1st). The adjusted prices are as follows: Factory A 1560 yuan; AA grade 1550 yuan; A grade 1550 yuan; A2 grade 1530 yuan; B grade 1520 yuan; B2 grade 1510 yuan; C grade 1470 yuan; mixed grade 1440 yuan; E grade 1350 yuan; beer cartons are classified as grade C. Prices for high-sided trucks are reduced by 20 yuan/ton, and bulk waste is reduced by 40 yuan/ton.

North China region:

Tianjin Nine Dragons Paper Industry (effective January 8th) has uniformly reduced the price of yellow waste paper by 20 yuan/ton, while the price of white waste paper remains unchanged. Hebei Qinhuangdao Fengman Paper Industry's prices (starting January 9th) are: AA grade 1480 yuan, A grade 1440 yuan, B grade 1390 yuan. Strictly monitor for moisture content and inferior products; malicious adulteration is strictly prohibited! Pay close attention to inferior products.

Hebei Qinhuangdao Changli Xingchang Paper Industry has lowered its waste paper prices by 30 yuan/ton (effective January 10). The adjusted prices are as follows: Grade A: 1430 yuan/ton; Grade B: 1380 yuan/ton; Grade C: 1290 yuan/ton; Grade D: 1200 yuan/ton.

Hebei Baoding Zeyu Paper Industry (effective 7:30 AM, January 10th) has lowered its waste paper price by 10 yuan/ton. The adjusted purchase prices for domestic waste cardboard are as follows: Grade AA: 1580 yuan; Grade A: 1530 yuan; Grade B: 1470 yuan; Grade C: 1420 yuan. Quality requirements: Purely dry, free of flammable, explosive, or combustible materials. Adding water, mixing with paper tubes, or adulteration will be severely punished. Paperboard content below standard will result in downgrading.

Hebei Baoding Dingtai Paper Industry has lowered its waste paper prices by 20 yuan/ton (effective January 10th). The adjusted prices (excluding tax) delivered to the factory are: Grade A 1580 (good quality, no deduction); Grade A 1530 (starting from 1 point); Grade B 1440/1480 (starting from 5 points); Grade C is no longer accepted. Note: 20 yuan/ton is lower for paper bundled with rope.

Hebei Xingtai Baixiang County Baoshi Paper Industry has lowered its waste paper prices by 30 yuan/ton (starting from the afternoon of January 8th). The adjusted prices are: AA1590, A1540, and Grade A (over 90% of the paper must be mixed) for large cartons, priced at 1470 yuan/ton; Grade B (over 40% of the paper must be mixed) for large cartons, priced at 1370 yuan/ton. Quality requirements are that the paper must be dry and clean during sorting. Packing stations are requested to improve quality control and strictly prohibit adulteration. Central China region:

Henan Taikang Longyuan Paper Industry lowered its waste paper prices by 40 yuan/ton starting January 10th. The adjusted factory price (3% including tax): Factory yellow cardboard 2: 1645 yuan, Grade 1 paper 1645 yuan, Grade 2 paper 1605 yuan, mixed waste paper 1574 yuan, colored cardboard boxes 1512 yuan, and rural mixed waste paper 1392 yuan. Factory yellow cardboard 1 (13% including tax): 1707 yuan.

Henan Xinxiang Hengli Paper Industry has lowered its waste paper prices by 20 yuan/ton (effective January 10th). The adjusted prices (for general invoices) are: AA grade: 1620 yuan/ton; A grade: 1580 yuan/ton; B grade: 1550 yuan/ton; C grade: 1490 yuan/ton.
