China Paper Producers Announce Second Round of August Price Increases

Several Chinese paper producers have issued a new round of price adjustment notices, raising prices by 50 yuan per tonne across a range of packaging and industrial paper grades.

The increases, described as the second round of raw paper price adjustments this month, cover products including kraft paper, high-strength corrugated paper, recycled linerboard and yarn tube paper. The announced implementation dates range from August 12 to August 22.

Nine Dragons Paper said its Tianjin and Hebei bases will increase prices for Dilongniu cardboard by 50 yuan per tonne from August 20. Its Shenyang base will also raise prices for Dilong Niuka by 50 yuan per tonne from the same date.

Liansheng Paper (Longhai) Co., Ltd. announced a series of increases for different grades. Prices for high-strength corrugated paper will rise by 50 yuan per tonne from August 13, followed by A3-grade kraft paper and T-paper on August 15, A2-grade products on August 17, and Grade A products on August 20.

Jiangsu Jintian Paper Industry will raise prices for its Jinbo-branded environmentally friendly kraft paper and high-strength corrugated paper by 50 yuan per tonne from August 18.

Jiangsu Jiusen Paper Co., Ltd. said all of its high-strength corrugated paper grades will increase by 50 yuan per tonne from August 12, 2026.

Zhejiang Jinlong Renewable Resources Technology Co., Ltd. will increase prices for yarn tube paper and Puwa by 50 yuan per tonne from August 13. The company, together with Zhejiang Jinli Environmental Protection Paper Co., Ltd., also announced a 50 yuan-per-tonne increase for high-strength corrugated paper from August 17 and recycled bovine card from August 22.
