Chinese Paper Mills Raise Whiteboard Prices

Several large-scale Chinese paper manufacturers issued notices on February 27, 2026, raising prices for whiteboard paper due to escalating raw material costs and operating pressures.

Taicang Nine Dragons Paper will increase all grey-backed whiteboard paper prices by RMB 50 per ton at its Taicang base, effective March 25, 2026, citing rising costs.

Dongguan Nine Dragons Paper announced a similar RMB/HKD 50 per ton (USD 7 per ton) hike for grey-backed whiteboard paper from its Dongguan base, also effective March 25, 2026.

Chongqing Nine Dragons Paper plans RMB 50 per ton increase for grey-backed whiteboard paper at the Chongqing base starting March 25, 2026.

Jiangxi Fulim Paper Industry Co., Ltd. will raise all grey-backed white cardboard paper prices by RMB 50 per ton from March 1, 2026, due to raw material price surges and improved product quality. This applies to all incomplete orders, including those with prepayments.

Jiangsu Kaisheng Paper Industry Co., Ltd. will adjust Kaixuan and Kaihua brand coated whiteboard paper prices upward by RMB 50 per ton effective March 1, 2026, amid high production costs from raw material rises and market competition.
