Seoul, South Korea – Clean Nara announced it has joined an industry agreement aimed at strengthening transparency in product capacity information and supporting price stability in the hygiene products market.

The agreement, titled “Agreement for Providing Important Information, Including Changes in Sanitary Product Capacity,” was signed on April 14 at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was established in collaboration with the Fair Trade Commission and the Korea Consumer Agency, alongside manufacturers and distributors of hygiene products.

The initiative is intended to prevent consumer confusion that may arise when product capacity, specifications, weight, or quantity are reduced without corresponding price changes. Participating companies are required to disclose such changes in advance through packaging, websites, and retail channels, including details on the extent of the modifications.

Clean Nara said it plans to enhance its product information systems in line with the agreement, introducing standardized notification practices for any adjustments to product specifications. The company also aims to improve transparency across its distribution channels to address information gaps in the market.

In addition to compliance measures, Clean Nara stated it will strengthen internal management systems to help stabilize prices amid changing cost and distribution conditions.

A company official said transparent communication of product capacity information is fundamental to building consumer trust and added that the agreement would help promote responsible information disclosure practices across the industry.
