Seoul, South Korea — Clean Nara announced it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Mirae Life to establish cooperation across quality, safety, research and development (R&D), and supply stabilization.

The agreement comes amid increasing global supply chain uncertainty and cost volatility, with both companies aiming to foster a more sustainable industrial ecosystem while maintaining competitive independence.

The signing ceremony took place on April 7 at Clean Nara’s headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Attendees included Clean Nara Chairman Choi Hyun-soo, CEO Lee Dong-yeol, and Mirae Life CEO Kim Gwang-ho. The companies confirmed their commitment to collaborative initiatives under the agreement.

Under the MOU, the two firms will explore cooperation in production and logistics to enhance quality standards and ensure stable supply. They also plan to pursue technology exchange and joint R&D activities within legal compliance frameworks to strengthen product competitiveness. Additional collaboration will focus on consumer communication.

The partnership is expected to improve production and operational efficiency while enabling faster responses to market changes. Both companies indicated that the cooperation framework will support greater supply stability and competitiveness across the paper and consumer goods sectors.

Clean Nara described the agreement as a strategic step toward shifting from a competition-centered structure to a cooperation-based growth model within the industry, while maintaining independent management. The company added that it aims to develop the partnership into a representative example of inter-company collaboration supporting sustainable growth.
