Daetwyler Group continues to expand its product portfolio through the acquisition of Cheshire Anilox, advancing its growth strategy and bolstering its position in the printing industry. The investment centers on anilox rollers, which complement Daetwyler's existing offerings, including doctor blades from Daetwyler Swisstec AG and inks and coatings from Rotoflex AG for flexible packaging and security applications. Ralph Daetwyler, Group CEO, stated, “Our in-depth understanding of processes has been the basis of our success for decades. Through the acquisition, we are expanding our technological expertise and thus creating tangible advantages for our customers. This acquisition is an important step in reliably meeting future requirements and actively driving the development of the industry.” Cheshire will integrate into the Daetwyler Group as an independent company, retaining its full workforce and corporate structure.
Sonia Arcos, Managing Director of Cheshire, commented, “The integration into Daetwyler’s global sales structure is an important step for Cheshire. Together, we can open up new markets and expand our expertise with anilox rollers, doctor blades, inks and coatings in a targeted manner.” Cheshire's primary markets are currently the UK and Europe, with plans to leverage its expertise for gradual anilox roller production setup in the USA, targeting one of the largest markets.
