DCGpac has opened its new manufacturing facility in Noida, India, to increase in-house output of sustainable packaging materials. The 20,000 square foot plant starts with a capacity of 250 tons per month. This setup enables backward integration, handling raw material sourcing, manufacturing, quality checks, and distribution. Developed through a five-year partnership with UKHI, a specialist in biodegradable materials, the facility processes fully biodegradable and compostable products. It serves e-commerce, quick commerce, retail, logistics, and direct-to-consumer brands, with distribution to India, UK, Germany, Australia, and the Middle East. Production includes extrusion, printing, sealing, and finishing, supported by an on-site quality control lab for regulatory compliance. DCGpac states the plant complements its existing supplier network, aiming to speed product development and ensure consistency for global clients. Founder Suresh Bansal called it a strategic step toward a sustainability-focused ecosystem. The company plans more facilities over five years, with investments exceeding Rs1 billion alongside partners.
