Paris, France – April 15, 2026 – Lalique Beauty has partnered with DS Smith to design and manufacture packaging for its new home fragrance collection, Tales of Light, the companies said.

The collaboration focuses on creating folding boxes and inserts that combine protective functionality with sustainability. DS Smith supplied packaging made from FSC-certified cardboard materials that are fully recyclable, aligning with Lalique Beauty’s aim to integrate environmental considerations into the product launch.

The packaging design includes corrugated inserts coated with an anti-abrasion varnish to safeguard the glass candle jars during handling and transport. The outer cases are produced using graphic board to support high-quality illustration printing through offset processes, complemented by selected varnish finishes.

According to the companies, the exterior design draws inspiration from the Art Deco era, reflecting Lalique’s heritage in craftsmanship and decorative arts. The packaging was developed using DS Smith’s in-house design and implementation capabilities.

Marie Labouret, Sales and Marketing Director at DS Smith Consumer France, said the company approached the project with a focus on sustainability and attention to detail, while aiming to deliver a packaging solution that aligns with the aesthetic and functional requirements of the collection.

The Tales of Light range marks Lalique Beauty’s continued expansion in the home fragrance segment, supported by packaging designed to balance brand presentation with material sustainability.
