Dunapack Packaging Hellas Agrees to Acquire El Pack’s Corrugated Packaging Operations in Greece

Dunapack Packaging Hellas, part of the Prinzhorn Group, has entered into an agreement to acquire El Pack’s corrugated packaging operations in Greece, including its production sites in Patras, Kapandriti and Thiva.

The proposed acquisition is intended to strengthen Dunapack Packaging’s presence in Southeast Europe and support the company’s long-term growth strategy. The transaction would combine El Pack’s local market expertise with Dunapack Packaging’s regional network and integrated business model, with the aim of expanding customer service capabilities across Greece and neighbouring markets.

As part of the agreement, approximately 250 employees are expected to join Dunapack Packaging upon completion of the transaction.

According to the company, the acquisition is designed to enhance its regional footprint in the corrugated packaging sector while reinforcing its operational presence in Greece.

The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the second half of 2026.
