Dunapack Packaging, part of the Prinzhorn Group, has successfully commissioned a new 2.8-meter-wide BHS Corrugated production line at its corrugated packaging plant in Eskişehir, Türkiye.
According to the company, the investment increases the facility's production capacity to up to 230 million square meters of corrugated board annually. The new corrugator is capable of operating at speeds of up to 450 meters per minute.
The company said the new production line expands its manufacturing flexibility by enabling the production of E, B, and C flute corrugated board, as well as EB and BC double-wall board grades.
The project also included an expansion of the plant's production hall to support future growth and additional manufacturing capacity.
Dunapack Packaging said the successful completion of the project was made possible through collaboration among multiple teams involved in the planning, installation, and commissioning phases.
The company stated that the investment is intended to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities while providing a foundation for long-term growth at the Eskişehir facility.
