Ehrmann Cornish Dairy, home to the Trewithen brand, is transitioning three fresh cream products from traditional HDPE plastic bottles to Elopak’s Pure-Pak cartons as part of a broader push to reduce plastic waste and improve sustainability across its portfolio. The move is supported by installation of a new Pure-Pak filling line at the company’s Glynn Valley site in Cornwall, enabling the brand to package cream in 300 ml, 500 ml and 1,000 ml carton formats with improved efficiency and lower material use. The first product in the rollout is Trewithen Cornish Double Cream in 300 ml cartons, now available in around 500 Tesco stores nationally, alongside regional listings, giving consumers a mainstream alternative to plastic bottles. The project aligns with Ehrmann Cornish Dairy’s ongoing investments in its Cornish facility and its long-term sustainability goals.
