Eldorado Brasil Celulose ended 2025 consolidating a significant move in its trajectory: it combined record operational performance with the consistent evolution of its ESG agenda, reinforcing the fundamentals that support its long-term competitiveness.
The results are included in the new edition of the company's Sustainability Report , which highlights strategic milestones such as the consolidation of full control by the J&F group and the record production of 1.788 million tons of pulp, achieved even in a year with a general maintenance shutdown, a clear indicator of industrial efficiency and operational discipline.
In the environmental area, Eldorado has made progress on one of the sector's most critical agendas: waste management. The company has begun construction of its new Waste Management Center, scheduled to be operational in 2026, structuring a model capable of transforming 100% of industrial waste into agricultural inputs, with a goal of Zero Landfill. This is a move that repositions the operation within the most advanced principles of the circular economy.
Climate management has also been strengthened. The report presents a Climate Risk Matrix with projections for 2030 and 2050, connecting environmental impacts to the financial valuation of the business, an approach aligned with international standards such as IFRS and the European CSRD directive. The company also updated its Materiality Matrix, refining ESG priorities in light of market demands and stakeholder engagement.
Another highlight is the commitment to achieve, by the end of 2026, that all the wood used in its operation comes from certified sources, reinforcing the traceability and sustainability of the production chain.
In the field of governance, the company has expanded its adherence to integrity practices, joining the Brazilian Pact for Corporate Integrity, from the CGU (Brazilian Comptroller General's Office), and the Pact for Sustainability. Recognition with the Diamond Sustainability Seal during COP30 reinforces the consistency of these initiatives.
The institutional evolution was also reflected internally. The Compliance area was repositioned as the Integrity area, expanding its reach beyond the organization and taking the ethical agenda to communities and public schools, a move that strengthens reputational capital and social legitimacy.
Innovation continued to be a driver of competitiveness. The first year of operation of ELDTECH, the company's Forestry Technology Center, consolidated the use of...
Biotechnology and genetic improvement for productivity and efficiency gains in eucalyptus cultivation, expanding the sustainability potential of the forest base.
In the social pillar, Eldorado was recognized as having the Best HR in the country in the forestry sector, reflecting a consistent strategy of human development, leadership training, and talent retention. The company continues to structure a continuous learning ecosystem, connecting technical training to the long-term business strategy.
“2025 marks a consistent advance in how we integrate competitiveness, sustainability, and people management. We remain committed to transforming strategy into execution, with discipline and a long-term vision,” says Elcio Trajano Jr., Director of Human Resources, Sustainability, and Communication at Eldorado.
By consolidating operational performance, measurable environmental progress, and governance aligned with international standards, Eldorado reinforces its position as one of the most structured players in the forest-based sector, combining value creation with responsibility and predictability for investors, partners, and society.
