Ence Energía y Celulosa has retained the Platinum Medal from EcoVadis, marking the third consecutive year the company has achieved the top rating from the sustainability assessment provider.

The company maintained its position in the 99th percentile of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis, which assesses more than 150,000 businesses globally. The Platinum rating is awarded only to organizations demonstrating the highest environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.

In its latest evaluation, Ence improved its overall score to 90 out of 100, up from 86 in the previous assessment. The increase reflects gains across several categories, particularly in environment, labor practices and human rights, and sustainable procurement.

The environmental category remained Ence’s strongest area, with a score of 98 out of 100. According to the company, this result reflects its ongoing focus on decarbonization, responsible natural resource management, and continuous environmental performance improvements.

EcoVadis evaluates companies across four key areas: environment, labor practices and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The latest rating reinforces Ence’s standing within the pulp and renewable energy sector and highlights the consistency of its sustainability approach.

The company said the recognition supports its commitment to maintaining a responsible and transparent business model aligned with international best practices.
