Ence Secures "Calculate and Reduce" Seal for Fourth Consecutive Year

Ence earned the "Calculate and Reduce" seal from the Spanish Office for Climate Change (OECC) for the fourth year running on January 16, 2026. This award forms part of the registration in the Carbon Footprint, Compensation and CO₂ Absorption Projects Registry under the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO). The recognition honors organizations that calculate their carbon footprint and actively cut greenhouse gas emissions. Ence showed a nearly 15% drop in average emission intensity for scopes 1 and 2 over 2022-2024 versus 2021-2023. This aligns with the Ence Group's Decarbonization Plan, targeting 55% absolute reductions in scopes 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 and 75% by 2035 from the 2018 baseline. The seal renewal underscores Ence's Climate Change Policy, aiming for climate neutrality by 2050 and advancing a decarbonized production model amid global climate challenges.
