Famen Temple Paper Industry Plans To Construct An Intelligent Upgrading And Transformation Project For Its 100,000-Ton-Per-Year Cultural Paper Pulping And Paper Machine Production Line

On March 5, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment released the environmental impact assessment report for the intelligent upgrading and transformation project of Shaanxi Famen Temple Paper Industry's annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of cultural paper pulping and paper machine production line.

　　According to the announcement, the project will be located in the existing plant area of ​​the Third Branch of Shaanxi Famen Temple Paper Industry. All existing paper production facilities in the Third Branch will be demolished (2 × 13,000 tons/year cultural paper production lines and 50,000 tons/year household paper production lines). A 100,000-ton pulping production line and two 3600-type/800-meter long-wire multi-cylinder paper machine production lines (total capacity of 145,600 tons) will be built, along with intelligent control systems and electrical automation and other auxiliary equipment.

　　In order to avoid increasing paper production capacity and the total amount of water pollutant discharge, and to ensure the smooth implementation of the project, Shaanxi Famen Temple Paper Co., Ltd. has decided to close and eliminate the 1×50,000 tons/year high-strength corrugated base paper production line of its fourth plant.
