Finch Paper Appoints Eric Hanson as Vice President of Operations

Glens Falls, NY – Finch Paper Holdings LLC has named Eric Hanson as Vice President of Operations. In this position, Mr. Hanson will uphold top production standards, backed by a firm focus on safety and quality, to deliver reliable results for customers. He joins the senior management team at Finch, headed by CEO Drew Gardner, alongside Mike McLarty (VP Sales & Wood Procurement), Barry Chapman (VP of Sales & Marketing), and Tracey Riley (CHRO).

"Eric brings a wealth of experience from mills across the uncoated freesheet space," said Drew Gardner. Mr. Hanson oversees 250,000 tons of annual production, marked by world-class safety and quality metrics. During his initial year at Finch, he will lead significant capital projects, including a winder upgrade and pulp mill enhancements. "Finch’s pulp and paper system stands out for its incredibly flexible asset base that manufactures one of the widest uncoated product portfolios in the industry," said Mr. Hanson. Mr. Hanson arrives at Finch Paper following an extensive career with Pixelle/Glatfelter, where he occupied various leadership roles at the Spring Grove, Chillicothe, Fremont, and Androscoggin mills. Most recently, he served as Manufacturing Director at Graphic Packaging International, overseeing the Kalamazoo facility. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine.
