Forest Products Association of Canada Announces New Board Leadership to Advance Growth, Sustainability and Competitiveness

The Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) is pleased to announce the election of new leadership to its Board of Directors, reflecting continued momentum and collaboration across Canada’s forest products sector.

New Chair and Vice Chair Appointed

• Luc Thériault, Chief Executive Officer, Pulp and Wood Products and President – Canada for Domtar, has been appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of FPAC. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Thériault brings deep operational expertise and leadership at both domestic and international levels.

• Juan Carlos Bueno, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercer International Inc., has been named Vice Chair of the FPAC Board. Mr. Bueno’s extensive global leadership experience across the pulp, paper and wood products industries enhances FPAC’s strategic perspective and industry representation.

Recognition for Outgoing Chair

FPAC also extends its appreciation to David M. Graham, President of Weyerhaeuser Company Ltd (Canadian subsidiary), for his outstanding service as Outgoing Board Chair, acknowledging his leadership through a period of industry challenge and transformation.
