Grigeo Packaging Renews BRCGS Certification

BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards) currently comprises six global standards. Grigeo Packaging has successfully renewed its certification under BRCGS Packaging Materials, the standard applicable to packaging manufacturers. During an unannounced audit, the company achieved the highest rating – AA+.

According to Otonas Valiušis, Head of UAB Grigeo Packaging, this achievement is the result of focused work across all departments and consistent strengthening of processes:

“Obtaining the BRCGS certificate confirms that our company meets the highest requirements for hygiene, good manufacturing practice, product safety and quality. Implementing the requirements of this standard required the committed involvement of everyone. The certificate is highly valued by major food manufacturers and strengthens our credibility in the market as a packaging supplier.”

BRCGS is one of the most widely recognised international standards for product safety and quality, applicable to companies operating in packaging, storage and logistics. Certification is conducted by independent auditors, providing objective confirmation that the company’s operations meet stringent international requirements.

The Grigeo Packaging team adds that the top grade was supported by the consistent implementation of Issue 7 requirements, which were systematically integrated into the organisation’s processes following the standard update.
