Grodno, Belarus — The Grodnoinvest Free Economic Zone (FEZ) has welcomed a new resident company, Paper West LLC, which will establish a production facility for personal hygiene products in Grodno. The project is expected to strengthen the region’s manufacturing sector and meet growing demand for essential hygiene products across regional markets.
The investment project will focus on the production of toilet paper, paper towels, table and cosmetic napkins, and paper handkerchiefs. These products will be manufactured using cellulose-based fibers and designed for everyday consumer use.
Paper West plans to invest more than €5 million in the project, including the installation of modern production lines and specialized equipment to support efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes.
The new facility is expected to create around 30 new jobs, contributing to economic growth and industrial development in Grodno. The company intends to supply its hygiene products to markets in Belarus and Russia, supporting regional demand for sanitary paper products.
The project further highlights the continued attractiveness of the Grodnoinvest Free Economic Zone as a destination for manufacturing investment. With developed infrastructure, preferential tax conditions, and strategic access to both the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union markets, the FEZ continues to attract international and regional investors.
