Hakkani Pulp & Paper Mills PLC Board Approved Procurement and Installation of Wastage-Fired Steam Boiler

Hakkani Pulp & Paper Mills PLC announced that its Board of Directors, during a meeting on January 24, 2026, approved acquiring and installing an Industrial 4000 Kg/Hr Wastage (Jute) Fired Steam Boiler. This step forms part of the company's efforts to boost operational efficiency.​

The new boiler aims to enhance steam generation capacity while cutting dependence on gas-based energy. Management expects this to yield clear gains in operational performance. Procurement and installation costs total Tk. 86 Lakh, fully funded through internal company funds.​

Company leaders view the project as key to improving sustainability, lowering production expenses and supporting enduring shareholder returns.
