Henrik Ehrnrooth Re-Elected Chair of UPM-Kymmene Board

UPM-Kymmene Corporation has confirmed the re-election of Henrik Ehrnrooth as Chair of its Board of Directors following its Annual General Meeting.

At the Board’s constitutive meeting held on the same day, Martin à Porta was elected as Deputy Chair.

The Board also appointed members to its key committees. Pia Aaltonen-Forsell was re-elected as Chair of the Audit Committee, joined by Marjan Oudeman and Piia Karhu as members.

The Remuneration Committee will continue under the leadership of Martin à Porta, with Melanie Maas-Brunner and Magnus Groth serving as members.

Henrik Ehrnrooth will also chair the Nomination and Governance Committee, alongside Jari Gustafsson and Topi Manner.

According to the company, all committee members are considered independent of both UPM-Kymmene and its significant shareholders, in line with the independence criteria set out in the Finnish Corporate Governance Code.
