HERGEN commends INCAPE for achieving operational excellence through continuous improvement and technological innovation, evident in recent record production results from its paper machine. Extended operation without sheet breaks stems from a robust industrial culture and investments in technology, processes, and employee training. This milestone strengthens the longstanding partnership between HERGEN and INCAPE. INCAPE President Thiago Karam Westphalen highlighted the achievement as a historical benchmark, crediting aligned teams and shared goals that extend beyond records. He expressed confidence in HERGEN for future investments, targeting tripled production capacity by late 2027 in the company's largest project ever. INCAPE's paper machine technology originates from HERGEN, built on trust, engineering expertise, and performance focus. The success builds on 2022 modernizations delivered by HERGEN. Currently, HERGEN supplies a new upgrade package, with equipment loading underway and installation planned for early 2026, featuring new Inbox, Training Section, and Press Section. These enhancements will boost machine speed from 300 m/min to 600 m/min, lifting annual capacity from 31,200 tonnes to 45,000 tonnes—a 44 percent increase—positioning INCAPE to exceed prior records. HERGEN reaffirms dedication to solutions enhancing Brazilian paper industry competitiveness and sustainability.
