Hubei Wuzhou: PM22 Installation Set for Q3; PM25 to Launch in June

Wuzhou Special Paper (Hubei) Co., Ltd. in Hanchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone maintains "dual acceleration" in production and construction ahead of Spring Festival. All six workshop production lines run at full capacity while new lines advance. The company targets strong Q1 results through robust output, sales, and project progress.

The PM21 glassine paper machine operates at 1,400 meters per minute, handling 8.265-meter-wide paper. Launched September 2025, it holds 300,000-ton annual capacity for high-value products prized in label liner, food, and medical packaging for superior heat and tensile resistance. Five other lines produce industrial packaging and specialty papers at maximum rates.

Ma Junling, Project Director at Wuzhou Special Paper Group Development Engineering, noted: "We activated new line construction early this year. PM22 began New Year's Day and enters equipment installation in Q3. PM25 drying cylinder is hoisted; pipeline and electrical work follow for June startup. These lines expand high-end capacity by up to 800,000 tons annually."
