Huhtamaki Flexibles has received two WorldStar Awards for innovative and sustainable packaging solutions: Omnilock™ Ultra PAPER in the Food Category and Omnilock™ MAX PE in the Packaging Materials & Components Category. These awards build on recent recognition at the AsiaStar Awards for the same solutions, confirming their global performance and relevance.​

Huhtamaki Flexibles earned qualification for the WorldStar Awards through its history of award-winning solutions and secured recognition in both the Food and Packaging Materials & Components categories. Omnilock™ MAX PE provides strong barrier performance while enabling recyclability, serving as a sustainable option compared to traditional high-barrier PE flexible packaging.​

Omnilock™ Ultra PAPER offers a fully recyclable, heat-sealable, ultra-high-barrier paper solution that replaces non-recyclable multi-layer structures with paper, plastic, and aluminum laminates. Featuring FSC®-certified paper content, it matches the barrier properties of aluminum/plastic combinations without reducing product shelf life. The solution also guards against mineral oil and water, balancing sustainability with technical excellence.​
