International Paper Co. announced that, effective October 8, 2026, its board assigned newly appointed independent directors Katherine Collins and Lori J. Ryerkerk to key board committees, following their previously disclosed appointments effective October 1, 2026. Collins joined the Audit and Finance Committee and the Governance Committee, while Ryerkerk was named to the Management Development and Compensation Committee and the Safety, Sustainability and Technology Committee, reinforcing the company’s governance and oversight framework.
The company also reaffirmed that directors Ahmet C. Dorduncu and Kathryn D. Sullivan plan to retire from the board on December 31, 2026, and detailed transition arrangements designed to ensure continuity. Dorduncu and Sullivan will attend relevant committee meetings as non-voting invited guests during the transition period, supporting an orderly transfer of responsibilities without exercising governance or voting authority.
