James Cropper Paper & Packaging has appointed Mike Gibson as Head of Business Development to accelerate growth and expand its footprint across premium paper and fibre-based packaging markets. Gibson, who joined the company earlier in 2025, brings more than 25 years of experience in paper, print and packaging, including senior commercial roles serving brands in the UK, Europe and the US. In his new role, he will focus on deepening partnerships with luxury, packaging and FMCG customers, supporting James Cropper’s strategy to unify its paper and moulded fibre capabilities under a single brand and drive sustainable, design-led solutions. The appointment aligns with the company’s transformation programme and ambition to capture higher-value opportunities in sectors such as luxury retail, drinks, beauty and premium print, where bespoke colour, texture and low-carbon materials are key differentiators.
