Jingxing Paper Industry has officially marked a major milestone in its Malaysia Phase II project with the successful launch of paper machine installation, signaling the transition into a critical construction phase.
The ceremony, held at the project site, was attended by senior leadership from Jingxing Paper, key partners, contractors, and technology providers, highlighting strong collaboration across the project ecosystem.
The event featured the first hoisting of the drying cylinder, a key step that signifies the project’s shift from civil construction to equipment installation and commissioning.
Speaking at the event, Wang Zhiming, General Manager of Jingxing Paper Industry, emphasized the company’s commitment to building a green, intelligent manufacturing facility aligned with Industry 4.0 standards, ensuring high-quality execution and sustainable development.
Project partners reaffirmed their commitment to delivering the project with a strong focus on safety, quality, and timely completion, while leveraging advanced technologies and global expertise.
Once operational, the Phase II project is expected to add 600,000 tons of production capacity, contributing to a total capacity of 1.4 million tons at the Malaysia base. The expansion will strengthen Jingxing Paper’s overseas supply chain capabilities and support its strategic growth in the high-end packaging paper segment.
The project also reflects the growing momentum of China–Malaysia industrial cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, reinforcing Jingxing Paper’s position as a global player in sustainable paper manufacturing.
