JK Paper Q4 FY26 Net Profit Rises 21% on Higher Sales

JK Paper reported a 16.36% year-on-year increase in consolidated net sales for the quarter ended March 2026, supported by higher operating income and improved profitability.

The company posted consolidated net sales and total income from operations of Rs 1,965.95 crore in the March 2026 quarter, compared with Rs 1,689.50 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Sequentially, revenue increased from Rs 1,763 crore reported in the December 2025 quarter.

Quarterly net profit attributable after minority interest and associates rose 20.71% to Rs 91.98 crore from Rs 76.20 crore in the March 2025 quarter. EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs 279.07 crore, up 15.49% from Rs 241.63 crore a year earlier.

Profit before tax increased to Rs 116.80 crore from Rs 105.04 crore in the year-ago period. Earnings per share (EPS) rose to Rs 5.07 in the March 2026 quarter from Rs 4.51 in March 2025.

During the quarter, raw material consumption stood at Rs 1,168.94 crore, compared with Rs 1,069.85 crore a year earlier. Employee costs increased to Rs 170.65 crore from Rs 149.58 crore, while depreciation expenses rose to Rs 99.74 crore from Rs 86.46 crore.

Interest expenses for the quarter were reported at Rs 59.53 crore against Rs 50.13 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The results were published in the company’s consolidated quarterly financial statement for the quarter ended March 2026.
