JK Paper Reports Q1 FY2026-27 Results, Advances Packaging Expansion and Starts BCTMP Production

JK Paper Limited has reported its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, with the Board of Directors approving the standalone and consolidated results at its meeting held on July 27, 2026.

On a standalone basis, the company reported revenue from operations (net) of ₹1,699.79 crore, compared with ₹1,600.17 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit before tax stood at ₹152.00 crore, while net profit for the quarter was ₹113.00 crore, compared with ₹76.22 crore in the year-ago period.

On a consolidated basis, JK Paper reported revenue from operations (net) of ₹1,887.17 crore, with net profit attributable to owners of the parent at ₹129.12 crore for the quarter.

The company stated that higher sales volumes and an improved product mix contributed to the quarter's performance. It also announced that production has commenced at its Hardwood Bleach Chemical Thermo-Mechanical Pulp (BCTMP) plant at the CPM unit in Gujarat from June 30, 2026.

During the quarter, JK Paper also increased its holding in Borkar Packaging Private Limited (BPPL) by acquiring an additional 15.40% stake, taking its total shareholding to 87.36% of the company's paid-up equity share capital. The acquisition was completed in line with the Share Purchase, Subscription and Shareholders Agreement.

The company noted that comparative financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, have been restated following the effectiveness of a Composite Scheme of Arrangement. As part of the scheme, JK Paper allotted 11,916,427 equity shares on March 20, 2026, with listing and trading approval becoming effective on June 16, 2026.

JK Paper said its standalone and consolidated financial results were reviewed by the Audit Committee, approved by the Board of Directors, and subjected to a limited review by the company's statutory auditors, Lodha & Co. LLP.
