Jörg Papak Named Head of Global Sales at GAW Technologies

GAW technologies GmbH has appointed Jörg Papak as its Head of Global Sales, according to the company’s current sales organization.

Papak joined GAW in March and has more than 25 years of experience in relevant roles in plant engineering, according to a company announcement. He previously served as Head of Sales Asia, where he was responsible for systematic market development in markets including Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

In his current role, Papak oversees GAW technologies’ global sales activities. The company’s sales organization also includes regional directors for North America and Mexico, China, India and South America, alongside sales managers responsible for areas including coating and preparation, automation and digitalization.

GAW technologies, based in Graz, Austria, provides plant engineering, equipment and industrial services for the paper, chemicals, automation, composites, and water and wastewater treatment sectors. Its technologies include systems for pigment production, coating preparation, starch and chemical preparation, as well as process-water treatment and recycling.

The company operates through a network of subsidiaries, production facilities, engineering, service and sales offices in international markets. Its current company information lists Papak as Head of Global Sales.
