Kadant Awarded Fiber Processing System Order for Giao Long Paper

Kadant Fiberline (China) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc. (NYSE: KAI), has secured an order to supply an advanced OCC (old corrugated containers) processing system and related equipment for Giao Long Paper Company’s PM3 at its mill in Vinh Long Province, Vietnam. The system, featuring Kadant Foundations™ technologies, will process OCC and UKP furnish, including broke handling, save-all disk filtration, reject handling, and approach flow systems. Designed for startup in 2027, the equipment aims to produce high-quality stock for containerboard while minimizing fiber loss and energy use. Peter Ma, vice president of sales and marketing at Kadant Fiberline China, highlighted the Impulse rotor’s customizable foil pattern for screening optimization and reduced power consumption. The solution also incorporates waste management to upcycle rejects, supporting Giao Long Paper’s efficiency and sustainability goals.
